Donate your unwanted mobile phones to Crimestoppers
Crimestoppers has launched a mobile phone recycling scheme asking you to donate your unwanted mobile phones to the charity.
This initiative is a great way to support Crimestoppers' vital work as well as help the environment. Simply put your unwanted phones in a freepost Crimestoppers envelope and post it in the usual way. Crimestoppers will receive a donation for every phone sent in through this scheme.
Gold Challenge
Volunteers on the London Crimestoppers committee will be participating in the Gold Challenge in support of the charity. The Gold Challenge is a charity challenge in which participants - either individuals or teams - aim to compete in every Olympic sport before the opening ceremony of the 2012 Olympic Games to raise funds for charity.
Royal Parks Half Marathon 2010
Run the Royal Parks Half Marathon for Crimestoppers - 13.1 miles through London's most beautiful parks.
Last year, more than 12,000 runners came together for an enjoyable day in London's Royal Parks. This year's event will be on Sunday 10 October, and Crimestoppers has got a number of guaranteed places available for it. We're looking for keen runners to enjoy the day whilst raising money to help solve crimes, so why not join the team?
